Best RSPS Servers 2027 – Top RuneScape Private Servers (Preview)

This is a 2027 preview, written in October 2026. Nobody can honestly tell you which RSPS will be the best in 2027 yet — servers launch, reset and close every month. What we can do is show you the servers that are active on RuneRank right now, explain how to judge them, and keep this page updated as 2027 gets closer.

How this list is put together

Every server below is a real, approved listing on RuneRank. The order is not paid for and not our opinion: it comes from the live RSPS toplist, where players vote once every 12 hours and suspicious votes are filtered out before they count. Premium listings may be highlighted elsewhere on the site, but they do not change vote counts.

Servers to watch heading into 2027

These are some of the most-voted and most active listings on RuneRank at the time of writing. Descriptions are based on what each server publishes on its own listing.

Oakhaven — semi-custom OSRS

Oakhaven describes itself as a semi-custom OSRS server built for the long run by a veteran RuneScape team, with a focus on a lasting economy. It has led RuneRank's monthly votes for most of autumn 2026, which tells you its community is active and engaged.

Ragnar — revision 241, Leagues-style

Ragnar runs revision 241 and advertises Leagues-like gameplay, recent OSRS content and all raids. It has announced a launch date, so it is one to follow if you like starting on day one.

Aranea — custom 317 with PvM focus

Aranea is a 317-based custom server tagged for PvM, custom content, perks and pets.

Zelus — fresh OSRS economy

Zelus offers a fresh economy with all three raids, custom bosses, relics and both PvP and PvM content.

KIROS — rev 240 OSRS with Sailing

KIROS lists revision 240 OSRS content including Sailing, all raids, custom perks and prestige. It also has an announced launch date.

DawnScape 3 — custom RS3 (EoC)

If you prefer modern combat, DawnScape 3 is a custom RS3 876 server with its own raid, frequent world events and a monthly pass.

PKLeagueq — ranked PvP

For pure PvP, PKLeagueq focuses on ranked OSRS PvP with ladders, multiple builds and a practice mode.

What will make a server "best" in 2027

Based on what keeps communities alive on RuneRank, these are the things worth checking:

• A stable economy. Servers that reset constantly or hand out items through donations tend to lose players. Look for clear rules on drop rates and store items.
• Regular, documented updates. A public changelog or update thread on Discord shows the team is still working on the game.
• Uptime. RuneRank checks server status automatically. A listing that is often offline is a warning sign.
• Real votes over time. One big week is easy. Steady votes month after month mean players keep coming back.
• An active Discord. Most RSPS support happens there. Join before you play and see how staff answer questions.

The "best" server depends on what you want to do:
