1. About RuneRank

RuneRank is an independent RSPS toplist and discovery platform for RuneScape Private Servers. It was founded and is independently operated by Tyler Messer and Biggs. RuneRank is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Jagex. RuneRank does not own, operate or control the third-party servers it lists, and is not responsible for what happens on them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your country, to create a RuneRank account. To buy Premium or advertising you must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Purchases cannot be made by minors with parental permission.

3. Accounts and sign-in

You can sign in with Discord or with an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. Do not share accounts, impersonate others or create accounts to get around restrictions. Linking Discord is required for some features, such as Content Creator applications and Discord-based giveaways.

4. Server listings

Server owners are responsible for everything they submit, including names, descriptions, links, connection details, images and videos, and must have the right to use it. Listings are reviewed before they appear and may be edited, hidden or removed. You must not submit content that:

• is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit or harassing;
• contains malware, phishing or misleading download links;
• copies another server's branding or artwork without permission;
• misrepresents your server, player counts or features.

5. Voting and rankings

The monthly rankings are based on legitimate community votes. Each player may vote for each server once every 12 hours, and each vote requires human verification. The following are prohibited and lead to vote removal and possible listing or account restrictions: automated or scripted voting, proxy or VPN farms, duplicate accounts, paying or rewarding people for votes outside a server's normal vote-reward system, and any other attempt to manipulate results. Removals are logged and can be reviewed. Premium and advertising never buy votes or improve a server's ranking.

6. Server levels and Spotlight

Server levels, XP, milestone badges, Spotlight credits and other progression rewards are governed by the platform rules in force at the time. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted or removed if they were earned through abuse or error. RuneRank may change how progression works.

7. Premium and advertising

Premium is an automatically renewing subscription for one server listing. It renews at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed until you cancel. Advertising is sold either as a fixed-date booking that ends on its last booked day, or as a monthly booking that renews automatically until cancelled. Prices and terms are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Premium and advertising increase visibility and presentation. They do not guarantee traffic, votes, rankings or new players.

Cancelling

You can cancel Premium at any time from the Premium page using the manage-billing option. You can cancel a renewing ad booking yourself from the Advertise page under your campaigns. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Premium or ad stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

Premium and advertising are digital services that start right after payment, so completed purchases are generally non-refundable once the service has begun, including partly used billing periods. We will refund or correct charges where required by applicable law, for billing errors or duplicate charges, or when we fail to provide the service you paid for. To request one, open a support ticket. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

8. Community events and giveaways

Events on the events calendar are usually organized by third-party server communities. Those organizers are responsible for their event details, rules and prize delivery. Giveaways that RuneRank hosts are clearly labelled as RuneRank giveaways and follow the rules shown with them. Prizes in giveaways run by server owners are their responsibility unless we say otherwise.

9. Content creators

Creators who apply to the Content Creator showcase confirm they own or control the channel and videos they submit. You allow RuneRank to display your profile, channel name, thumbnails and embedded public videos on RuneRank and in its Discord. Profiles may be reviewed, suspended or removed, and the related Discord role may be removed.

10. External websites

RuneRank links to third-party RSPS websites, game clients, Discord servers and other services. They have their own rules and policies, and you use them at your own risk. RuneRank does not check every download or guarantee third-party content.

11. Enforcement

We may remove content or votes, or limit, suspend or remove listings, advertising, creator profiles or accounts that break these terms, put users at risk or harm the platform. Where possible we will explain why. If paid services are removed for a serious breach, a refund may not be due, except where the law requires one.

12. Service availability and liability

Features may change, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, uptime or accuracy of server status data. RuneRank is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, RuneRank is not liable for indirect losses or for the actions of third-party servers, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

13. Changes and contact

We will announce significant changes to these terms in RuneRank's Discord and, where appropriate, with a notice on the site. The date above shows the latest version. For support, open a ticket in our Discord at discord.gg/runerank or use the contact form. See also our Privacy Policy and FAQ.
