A goblin general carrying his king’s stolen maul. A dark wizard guarding a scorched relic from Delrith’s failed summoning. A familiar training spot with something unexpected waiting among the usual monsters.
That’s the kind of server we’re building.
Caligo is an early-access, economy-focused OSRS private server built around familiar progression, a darker atmosphere, and custom additions that belong in Gielinor.
I’ve loved the original game since 2002. This is a passion project, and I’m looking for players who want to get involved early and help build a community worth sticking around for.
👹 Familiar Monsters, Unexpected Encounters
Hunt eligible goblins, dark wizards, skeletons, moss giants, and other familiar creatures across Gielinor, and you may draw out a tougher elite carrying unique rewards.
Work through Slayer, explore somewhere new, or revisit an old training spot. Your next trophy could come from somewhere you normally walk straight past.
🗡️ Custom Finds With a Story
Our first ten custom items include:

Goblin Smasher Maul — a goblin king’s trophy, stolen by a rogue general.

Delrite’s Scorched Ritual Staff — a surviving relic of the ritual that threatened Varrock.

Crowbone Quiver — scavenged bone, stitched hide, and crow feathers.

Willow-Witch Bow — a crooked bow with a peculiar Draynor history.

The Rat-Scribe’s Book — a questionable education held together by rat teeth.
These items bring more character to early and mid-game progression, with their own requirements, strengths, and reasons to collect them. The aim is to make a rare find exciting while keeping familiar Old School equipment relevant.

🎒 Useful Rewards to Work Toward
Vote rewards and supporter stores offer outfits, resource bags, Prayer tools, rune storage, and extra bank space.
Work toward log and ore sacks, or familiar tools such as the coal bag, herb sack, and fish barrel. Alpha feedback helps us shape how these rewards fit into everyday progression and the economy.
